Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

@Sparky5: I got Enter the Dragonfly for Christmas in 2002, mine was also platinum, I also got Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex and Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, with my first ever PlayStation 2, and it still works to this day, the only thing that has died on me is Jak 1.

Got this game for PS2 for my birthday a few days ago. And the weird thing is, it was on Platinum! Anyway, now I've got all the original Spyro console games and only 1 handheld one which is Shadow Legacy. Anyway, I got it to complete my collection

I love this game. It's the first Spyro game I ever played smilie, I like the other ones too. I played this one, then A new beggining, then a Hero's Tale, then Eternal Night, then Year of the Dragon, then Shadow Legacy, then Dawn of the Dragon. I know there is a few others left to complete, but I'll get there! smilie

Really? I thought A Hero's Tail was the best. This game was okay, but they kind of made Spyro's head too big.
