Developed by previously unknown (and since) companies Equinoxe/Check Six, this game, it's safe to say, was rubbish. Easily the worst Spyro game ever created. Though I might as well have this section despite that.

There's very little to the story of this game. Basically they're still celebrating the Year of the Dragon festival, but now it's time to give the baby dragons their dragonflies. However Ripto shows up, mucks up a spell and loses all of the dragonflies all over the realm. Even Sparx. It's up to Spyro to save the day again.

this game looks VERY similar to that first Crash game for the PS2... especially the moving lives icon

Spyro kinda looks like rubber.
When I bought this game, I didn't know Insomniac didn't help produce it. I found Spyro looked... very strange in this game, as well as the other characters looked, well, UGLY. There were glitches and it was just horrid.
I do not plan on playing any other Spyro games other than the first 3 because this new company who seems to have taken over in my opinion, sucks.

Yes, the game was great, but there were flaws..
1: BUBBLE BREATH, WHAT KIND OF BREATH IS THAT!
2: too easy
3: Waaaaay too many glitches.
I loved the scenery though..

wasnt to freaky in this game he was much more evil in spyro 
2 because taking over the the dragon realm compared to just taking dragon flys isnt super bad but still what he did was evil they agree with me right guys
This was my first eva spyro game.
I think it is bouring wasting my money.
