In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story
Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

Guys! There will be more Spyro games! Serria has said themselfs that there will be alot more Spyro games! They said something about only scratching the disk, meaning that you have only seen the beginnning off Spyro and that there will be heaps more games in the futer.

hey ignitusforever I DONT have DOTD copy I have the original and my friend and I are using that all the time on the big enemyes and on elite enemyes,they die in like 5 seconds... and same with shadow and electricity but only for the big ones its a bit hard on small ones..but it works also..
dont you just love holding square when ur an earth ball :-) its awesome!
this game is worth the buy/but that destroyer level gave me the creeps!

Why did you say Spyro?
I need help with the Destroyer level. I can't find "The Destroyer's Nape" (the back of his neck), and the phrase "Go back to the open area..." doesn't help at all. I've been stuck at this for hours, so could someone shed some light on this situation for me?

EVERYBODY WITH DOTD COPY! I MADE A VERY IMPORTANT DISCOVERY!!
I was just playing DOTD with my friend. We were fighting eniimies, I used electricity while she used fear on the same enemy and the enmy blew up in a puff of smoke!! So electricity and fear on the same enemy is a very deadly wepon! It works best if b oth elemeents are upgraded to a high level. First cahnce you get, play wiht another person and test it. and you will see Iam not joking!

If the movie turns out to be a flop, then *poof* spyro will dissapear off the shelves. We don't want that to happen, but its what will happen. If the movie gets a lot of money, there will be more spyro games.
