In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story

Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

Cynder_543, the only reason that spyro doesnt fall off the edge is because spyro can fiy now so y would he fall off the ledge when he could fly.

I don't like how you can't full off the ege. That is what made the Spyro games more off a challenge. It is now basicly imposible to die unless you get killed by enemys.....

Anyway, I think the reason why most people love this game is because off the free flight and co-op (especily with Cynder). The co-op was awsome. I loved playing with my sister. But the flying could do with some improvments....

Free flight has to be the best. I remember playing the old spyro games and falling of the edge. Now i dont have to worry about that

I love it because you can do a lot more, like 2 player, play as Cynder, better graphics, fly whenever you want, the breaths are really cool, you can upgrade, you can collect armour, and you can reply any part you want!

I have no idea why dawn of the dragon is so popular but I love
it.
