In the culmination of the trilogy, players find Spyro teaming up with an unlikely ally - Cynder, his former enemy, to face his most challenging mission to date. As the Dark Master's (voiced by Mark Hamill) evil envelopes the world like a plague, Spyro must fulfill his destiny and unlock the true power of the purple dragon within him to stop the Dark Master in his tracks.

Story

Three long years have passed since Spyro and Cynder were trapped in the crystal, since then Malefor has unleashed his evil onto the world. In this third chapter of the epic Legend of Spyro trilogy, Spyro must fulfil his destiny and face the Dark Master. As evil spreads over the world, Spyro and Cynder must discover new abilities and unlock their true powers to defeat Malefor and stop him from destroying the world.

Hey guys! Activision just said that some stupid witch killed Malefore and and just put him to sleep this is a crime agianst the old games! I wanted to read these issues but then I find out they're trying to spread this garbage promoting one useless character that already has enough fans (IF there are any and sadly I know there are) Whoever writes the comic just made a huge mistake

No, the Legend of Spyro and Skylanders are two completely different universes. They just took story elements from the Legend of Spyro into Skylanders, such as the floating islands, but different Spyro, Cynder and different Malefor.

DragonFang, DarkSpyro has all of the controls for the game here:

So it's L2 for PS2/3, Left Trigger for Box and + for Wii.

They didn't have the right voice actor for Volteer unfortunately... Also, WHATS WITH THEIR POWERS! Weren't they supposed to have lost their powers in the first game!??!?!

Is anyway else upset at the fact there's a cut out cutscene between Volteer and Cyril? That could've added so much personality to the game. I also really love those two, Volteer is best guardian.
