The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

Shira was the kangaroo on spyro 3 also this is a new version to spyro so they can bring back charecters from other versions.

this game gets a lot of people stuck...

i got stuck on this thing so many times, you wouldn't believe how often i've resorted to walkthroughs. im still not done with it yet..it makes me feel like such a bad spyro fan =[

this game is relly good the best spyro game but its odd how its the only game with light gems i dont know how nasty nork came back to life agen but it was a good strory line & where was the other heros like shira or bianca.

hello we are playing spyro a hero tail.We are stuck in the remain coast we cannot reach the dark gem when you come in at the left high up a mountain. We are from the netherlands and verry glad with your site Please can you help us?

Oh yea thats right. I eventually found the last Dark Gem in another spot on the Map. I beat red yesturday. I have some questions on Spyro The Dragon - Haunted Towers so can you go read my comments on the STG page? Thanks. Its under Dream Weavers.

That's at the end of the area beyond a door which you need 95 Light Gems to get through, there aren't any Dark Gems there.

OKAY. I have a major problem. I am playing Spyro A heros tail, and in the Frost Bit Village, there is a place on the map I just can't get too. I've done it before too, but I don't remember how. To get there, go through the door you just power charged. In that place there will be two eagles flying aroung and there is a cannon in the middle where you were supposed to shoot out two metal doors. One is really high up on wooden beams. I can't get up there, and thats where the last gem is to beat the boss. I don't know how I ever did it before, but can some one please get me some information on how to get the last Dark Gem in Frost Bit Village? I've done it before because I have beaten Red. I've had trouble with this before. I've only gotten past it once, and I just don't remember how.

To Jacinta Porter: I had a similar problem. Everytime that I didn't use Moneybags, then after I leave the elavator, IT FREEZES!!!! Ne1 else experience that problem...?.
