The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

dodge it's attacks then hit it with electric orbs or ice shards [ice shards are way the best]REPEAT.

I looved it.Took me a while to get 100%.Was it really THAT good,because I'll start all over.Anyways I amolst beat AHT,then fer some raisin I could get this one last gem.I looked around everywhere but no luck.Think it's a glitch.

To gary2346, Can you tell me how you got past the train thing in spyro a new begining as I am stuck on that any clues you can offer me or cheats to get past it would be great thanks

I never got much of a chance to play this game because im still on Enter the Dragonfly which is glitchy and i beat all the spyro games before it spyro the dragon,riptos rage,year of the dragon, and a new beggining which was by the way the best!

im so mad. i havent pllayed this game in ages, i went to play an d my data waas corupted. OMG. i was almost finished, i was at the volcano level. i have to start over... and this wasnt rly my fav orite game... =[

This is my favorite game in the whole series! It was so much un wit the new abilites and character playing, that was awesome!

HAY MY XBOXES GOT UP AN RUNNING AGEN BUT NOW MY SPYRO GAME DONT WRK!

to bad... i took it up town to get it buffed up. it worked for around 5 minutes before it before it went onto the, YOUR DISK IS DIRY OR DAMAGED, screen. im so angry!!

This is the best in the series!I have 100 percent!I love Ember and Flame but Spyro is the best!If you need help to get to 100 percent ask me!

This is a bummer. I got so far in this game, and my older sister went and deleted it!!!! She even deleted my brothers game as well. Now I have to start over!!!! All because my silly sister thought I overrode her game on purpose!!!! Which I didn't!!!! I probably bumped a button or something. Or maybe my brother did it. Anyways, now I have to face Gnasty Gnorc again. UGH!!!! I hate it when siblings do this to your games.
