Finished The Legend of Spyro: The Eternal Night and wondering when you're going to find out what happens next? Well wonder no longer. Velvet Octopus, involved with the upcoming Legend of Spyro film, have posted the first information about the third entry to the trilogy.

it kills me! the anticipation builds up and then it dies and i'm not as excited as i was at first. boo. :[

Good enough. But now that means I have to choose which one! Which do you think will be better, PS2 or Wii? I've heard the Wii poses a few problems but then again is better since it's the Wii we're talking about. I haven't experienced Spyro on Wii yet, so what do you suggest?

Ah, the GameStop/EBgames site does have an Xbox 360 version listed, they just spelt the title wrong for that one "Legend of Spyrol: Darkest Hour".

Well this is cool. Allow me to make my points.
Ok, first I'd have to speak for my favourite point. Co-operative. Those guys really know how to solve a tough problem, as in the fact of people complaining about TEN being too easy, and those who think too hard. They have made the right choice in solving this and it will also add a ton of fun, especially since that means multiplayer. I hope that they do make co-op avaliable alone, like in The Simpsons Game and Lego Star Wars. And not just one character to control non-multiplayer and two on multiplayer, like Crash of the Titans. The only bad thing about this is that there's a huge chance of Cynder being playable and quite frankly I HATE Cynder. Also, I only know one person that will play with me.
Ok, PS3 version was expected, sorta. Not Xbox 360, but oh well. And guys, IT IS CURRENTLY UNKNOWN OF THESE TWO CONSOLES BEING THE ONLY AVALIABLE! I don't mean there'll only be handheld versions too. No. There is still a chance of it being on the Wii and PS2. A big chance.
The DM? Aww, man, I hope not. I hope to see him in an interesting form but I don't want him to be the final boss. Yes, maybe the second last but it'd be nice to have an unexpected surprise boss. Maybe the Chronicler... Along with this, it'd be good if the game went on after the boss had been beat. Like in YotD, after beating Sorceress' Lair you had to do more. Or Resident Evil 4, you have to escape from the island (but maybe a bit longer than that). I'd like to see you having to control Spyro maybe returning home. Flash and Nina could make a reappearence.
You may have noticed that there are two characters in ANB and two in TEN which names' are sorta not revealed but able to find out. Like Flash and Nina (Sparx's parents) and Scratch and Sniff (Skabb's parrots). Good if the same sorta thing happens here. Some sort of things you have to do during which to survive like in 'Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition' during cutscenes. Maybe even be able to control where you move during cutscenes and such.
Fly at any time? Hope it's limited, not infitite. That would mean you'd have to alter the game majorly.

Well, this news tells me it'll be a fairly good game, but quite shaky. But it's still atleast 8 months until said release, so who knows what could happen?

Probably well worth it, Zacoda1. But really, the only way Krome can get the best out of the PS3's impressive visuals and processing power is developing that version of the game on that console. If they simply develop the game on the Wii and then port it to the PS3, the PS3 version will be heavily flawed and little more than the Wii version with better graphics, graphics that would have been better if it had been developed on the PS3.

umm im already deep into the game and all spyro does is glide...and so far there is no co-op but that could happen when the game is beaten...

NO! JUST NO! MAJOR EPIC PHAIL! Spyro can't/sucks at flying. This is one of the MAJOR defining traits of the purple dragon! Remove it and you remove one of the main points that make him different from the generic hero dragon!

I SOOOOO hope that this is a fake. Frankly. I'm hoping for it. They can't kill Spyro anew after getting this far. I don't want a second Enter The Dragonfly this soon!
Being able to fly everywhere is akward enough that they may never do it.
Plus now with the Spyro movie comming out there may be a plot with a new story to fit the spyro game
