After ticking down for the past few days the countdown on Spyro's Lair has reached zero. And with impeccable timing nothing happened. UPDATE: Several hours later and here it is: the minisite for The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon.
Developed by newcomers to the series, Etranges Libellules and Tantalus Interactive (DS version), the game appears to be taking a much more realistic look after the previous two Legend of Spyro games. The game is due to appear on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PlayStation 2 and Nintendo DS this October.

I remember Zerodius using them in his story, Prophecy. I'd love to hear what Sierra's explanation is for their sudden reappearance. <.<;
One reason, I would presume, is that they reinforce her aesthetic appeal.
Let's not forget that the dog collars were commonly associated with her adult form in A New Beginning. Perhaps now that she too is growing alongside Spyro, they would come into play once more?

I'm similarly ready, though it also helps me to break away to other games while I wait and all to fuse my appetites. Yay, Paper Mario 2

They gave the Dark Master a name: Malafor (real creative people) and they list the Wii and DS release date as being the 8th of October. <.<;

I've got a new book series, and now I'm on the waiting list at my local Play N Trade for two games: Dragon Rage and Lair, so once I get those I should be occupied for a while. <.<
