Well no luck here at all today. I think Activision must have Spokane last on the US distribution lists.

im checking with my gamestop well today i guess since its after 12 right now but anyways since they had double trouble hopefully they will have cynder or empire of ice

I pre-ordered via Amazon on the 9th of this month just so I could avoid another "SkylandersQuest". You all know which one...the usual hunting spree activision has their patrons on to score their Figs (I feel like I ought to be getting some sort of RL xp or achievement/Gammer Points or something-LoL...) However, they sadly won't arrvie until early February?! They have e-mailed me a shipping confirmation date of Jan.30th-Feb.8th For the Tripple pack with DoubleTrouble, WhirlWind and Drill Srgt. and a ship date of Feb.1st-8th for the single of Cynder. And although this does gurantee me the figs; I'm still bewildered on how stores do have them available on the shelves (if your lucky to find 'em of course) and mine are still somewhere in a big, dark, lonely warehouse still being " processed" for shipping-Even after I've pre-ordered well in advance?! I do hope Activision takes all this into account for the next wave. Granted I do understand suppy and demand, but this has just gotten way out of hand. Crazy scalpers scooping up the small stock the stores do have on hand just to turn around and sell them at criminally high prices. This game has really caused a frenzy of great magnitudes, that I've never seen before in the video game indusrty. What's more, Amazon's condoning these Scalper/retailers from selling via their site and some folks are desperate enough to pay those prices. I have yet to pay anything but retail for all of mine, save for the Volcanic Vault I just had to have.^_~ And even then, I paid a very resonable amount for it; considering it's owner recived it as a free pre-order incentive. All in all, I'm still playing with my new SlamBam (which I found @ GameStop) getting his stats and lvl up untill my other figs arrive ^_~

You have to understand that marketing these figures the way that Activision is makes their value and demand increase when they release them in waves. If those that "scoop" them all up and sell them online to willing buyers make a profit then noone can be blamed. But Activision is loosing out on their own profit by not meeting demand.

I know how you're feeling. My cost of fuel for the car used during one "SkylandersQuest" was greater than that of the rare figure, but it was worth it. For some collectors/sellers the $100 spent/earned online for one figure is a means to an end. Are the sellers doing anything illegal? No. Ethical? That's up for debate. What the sellers are doing is affecting the market that Activision is serving with their IP. It's similar to how GameStop resells used games. Gamestop is making profit this way where producers/developers get nothing from the resell. Activision knows the Skylander's figure supply issue is costing them money. They'll eventually catchup.

We, the collectors, who may decide to draw the line at price gouging, must remain patient. Don't support price gouging by buying at inflated price over retail, and enjoy what figures we have now. Okay, I know I am able to speak from the perspective of having collected all the figures (save the legendary and silver variants) but I was there too. I am close to buying the legendary figures online, but at what cost to my morals?

Keep your chin up. Do what makes you happy. Buy online, or not. Just know that the time/money spent on collecting the figures should reflect the value you hold on that object and not the preceived value anyone else places on it to make a profit.

That's nothing I seen one seller that has or had 26 Legendary packs from TRU. He had them priced at $169.99. I almost wanted to send him a message and call him scum but I figured I'd get my eBay account banned. Oh well.

2:00pm (Central) and Gamestop.com has the Whirlwind, Double Trouble, & Drill Sargent 3 pack available online right now!!

they got the whirlwind, driil sargent double trouble pack in at the gamestop in tampa. they got like 5 triple packs in....

Best Buy opens in half an hour...Looks like I'm gonna make the trek to see if any came in last night?! Went to Wal-mart, two Best Buys, two Targets, Game Stop and Toys R us yesterday...all were stocked with every figure, except this latest wave. I'm feeling lucky though, I hope to find at least one single today. Otherwise I hope to see them shipped to me soon. ^_~

Well I've about had it with this junk in Spokane, WA.

So far, of two GameStops, Toys R Us, two Walmarts, one Best Buy, and one Target, as best I can tell from talking to them is that one of the Gamestops had 3 Empire of Ice packs last Friday. That's it for my whole area.

Talk about a total debacle of a distribution effort. I may not ever buy another Activision product ever again.

In Canada there's never any skylanders either unless you come on the shipment days.

I pre-ordered the empire of ice pack for the 20th, but they screwed it up and I have to wait more time!

Everyone who likes Skylanders are getting brainwashed!

The people here are just trying to get them for regular price instead of for hundreds of dollars because of some jerk who is trying to make a huge profit off of the high demand for them. Thus the worry.

well as somebody said before,sunburn and camo are coming out in april-june.camo comes out in the dragon's peak and sparx is one of the magic items

Still seriously hope Camo doesn't come out as late as June. I think it's ridiculous.

I still want a Wave 3 Skylander. I hope some stores restock by tomorrow... I have my eyes on Cynder. (My 4 year old cousin likes her a lot and she's even playing Skylanders with me! It'd be nice to buy a Skylander that she really likes.)
