Several pieces of (possible placeholder) boxart and five new screenshots of Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure have turned up at Amazon.com. If the release date is also accurate then you can expect the game out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii, PC, and the Nintendo 3DS on September 27th 2011.

Toys R Us also have the boxart and a bit more detailed descriptions of the contents of the Starter Packs which will include the game (obviously), the Portal of Power, 3 figures (Spyro, Gill Grunt and Trigger Happy), poster, 3 trading cards, a sticker sheet, and 3 web codes. Hence the large shape of the box.

And IGN have uploaded three new videos showcasing Spyro, Trigger Happy, and Gill Grunt.

Thanks go to Aura24 for spotting the screens and SpyroPurple for spotting the videos.

He's done music for MW2, Crysis 2, and now Skylanders. But his company Remote Control Studios has scored games since the first Metal Gear Solid back in the day. <.<;

*Snickers* I find it kind of funny that it is called "Spyro's adventure", yet he is in the sideline.

Yes me too, I was discussing that with Aura24, and she tells me that Spyro fans would just complain and that's the reason why he is not in the middle, but I don't really think it's that, I don't know why they did that but it doesn't matter too much.

That's Hans Zimmer for ya :3

It does sound very 'Zimmery'... at least, what I've heard from him. It was reminding me quite clearly of music from the movie Madagascar... smilie
