I actually thought that this was going to be a good movie - its made from the producer of Eragon. But I wasnt really dissappointed to hear that its canclled, because Spyro's place is on the consoles, not on the kino screen

I managed to save the question and answer from Mike Graham about the future of spyro from the DotD GameInformer interview.

"GI: Will this be the last Spyro game or are there plans to make more after this finale?

Mike Graham: Without a doubt, there will be more Spyro games in the future. The entire purpose of the trilogy was to re-establish the characters and the world in a way that would allow growth and expansion. We've only scratched the surface."

Correct me if I'm wrong, but was that not said before the merger with activision? If that's true, then that plus the fact that the interview was deleted could mean they won't continue LOS or that they are uncertain about it.

All any of us can do in order to be sure is wait and see. Don't forget to keep an open mind either. Whatever it is it could be good.

Whatever they're doing there will certainly be more games. They'd have revealed that they're dropping the series rather than that they're keeping it if the case were otherwise.

It's not a rumor. Activision has been deleting evidence of Spyro's Kingdom and has been pretending that the game has never been leaked.

I thought that it was a good idea, I never liked the idea of Spyro being turned into a movie, Classic, or TLOS.

Yeah, they said it was going to be released in 2010, but where is it? 2010 has gone by, and no Spyro Movie, and then they'll release that the others were telling the truth about the movie being cancelled.

well i am pretty disapointed but you know it was possibly for the better and im sure their going to make a great game in stead of a movie and if the new game has more buys and stuff like that, they might make a movie. just trying to make a point

Bt still, you don't kill off a Gaming Franchise just because its had a good run. Turning the series away from games and into movies would be the Worst Mistake ever.
