It's not guesswork. Look at the game series cutscenes. Tell me my concerns aren't valid. You said it yourself that Activision needs to keep their nose out of this one. Do you think they'll do that?

Also Aura, you have to understand that as a "fan" I have watched this franchise make a steady decline in popularity and quality for nearly 20 years. What do you expect me to think? lol

TheToyNerd is right. We don't know what to expect but you can't blame me for being pessimistic. If you don't like my thoughts on the matter then just ignore them. It's not like my angst is going to ensure the series failure so what does it matter to you? lol

Seeing as how you are claiming the show "is going to suck", when you have not watched the pilot episode, your claim IS guesswork.

The cutscenes are written by totally different people for a totally different media context. A show and a game are two seperate beasts entirely! Plus, the games have decent writing. The jokes might fall flat sometimes but for the most part it has good writing for a kid's game.

I like to consider it a highly educated theory. I bet you can count the decent game to movie/ tv series adaptations on one hand.

This will be the second time that I've had to say that yes there is a possibility it could be good or bad, but it will probably also be ignored a second time.

When I said "the show will suck" it was an opinion. I even said that, though I doubt the post was read thoroughly enough for it to be noticed. Opinions are not right or wrong and they cannot be proven or disproven as either. Quality is in the eye of the beholder.

I've just been expressing my feelings on the matter. Not once have I argued that any of you were outright wrong so I don't know why you're so hell-bent on putting me in my place. smilie

On another note the pilot will tell us nothing. There have been plenty of series that started with terrible pilots but turned out to be amazing when given the chance (and vise versa).

Really looking forward to the series starting this week but I hate some of the choices for voices. I really, really hate Glumshank's voice in the trailer. Nothing against the actor, just prefer the voice that I'm used to as it seems to fit the subservient Glumshanks better.

There's another preview which shows Glumshanks with the same personality as before. Ish. We don't know the context.
