It's only concept art. I doubt it will reflect the game model, just in the same manner as the boxarts for A New Beginning and The Eternal Night. >.> Given Spyro's target audience there's no way that we'd see him grow older and older or anything.
And if the EBgames.com posting of "Legend of Spyro: Darkest Hour" is anything to go by then there will indeed be both a PS2 and PS3 version as well as a Wii version.
That would match what they are doing with Ghostbusters, which also is sceduled for this fall.

Those guys really know how to solve a tough problem, as in the fact of people complaining about TEN being too easy, and those who think too hard. They have made the right choice in solving this and it will also add a ton of fun, especially since that means multiplayer. I hope that they do make co-op avaliable alone, like in The Simpsons Game and Lego Star Wars. And not just one character to control non-multiplayer and two on multiplayer, like Crash of the Titans. The only bad thing about this is that there's a huge chance of Cynder being playable and quite frankly I HATE Cynder. Also, I only know one person that will play with me.

Like Flash and Nina (Sparx's parents) and Scratch and Sniff (Skabb's parrots). Good if the same sorta thing happens here. Some sort of things you have to do during which to survive like in 'Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition' during cutscenes. Maybe even be able to control where you move during cutscenes and such.

Well, the last I can remember of those are TEN and Crash of the Titans, but they were presents. TEN has become my fourth favourite Spyro game and Crash of the Titans was pretty good and addictive but rather easy, especially when you could control powerful titans and also I now have no motivation to reach 100%. TEN was too short as well.
From a friend at school I got Lego Star Wars (First Trilogy) and the game was quite fun at times but it had no speech at all and bearly any pointers to tell you what to do. It's also really fun on co-op but now the next level fails to load.
The only two I remember actually buying from a proper shop were Medal of Honor: European Assault and Need for Speed: Underground 2. MoH is pretty good and the multiplayer modes are awesome but it's a bit confusing. NfS wasn't exciting at all and lacked originality completely. I've barely played either game at all.
Ah, yes. I got ANB as a present, too. It wasn't as good as TEN but it seemed a good length and I was more excited to get it. I also think I got Crash Tag Team Racing in that time and it's ok and I still play it but it had little racing and the on-foot parts were only Single Player and often annoying. I'll never find that last Die-o-rama.

Well, there's Super Mario Galaxy, which I've heard is a real hit and I've seen a video of it and it looks really cool, but it looks too expensive. Metroid Prime I've seen a video of too that's good and apparently if you like Resident Evil 4 then you'll love Metroid Prime. I'm considering more now to get TDH (The Legend of Spyro: The Darkest Hour) on Wii because in the 8 months until release the makers will probably realize the problems with TEN on the Wii, like the Knock-Up Attack or Fury, and make it better. So maybe that's sorted out the problem.
But alongside that, does this information sound like I'd probably like the Wii version better?
Also, dark, what's up with TDH disappearing from the banner? I can't find it anymore!

Being able to fly everywhere is akward enough that they may never do it.
Plus now with the Spyro movie comming out there may be a plot with a new story to fit the spyro game

I meant The Eternal Night. That's its initials.
Erernal night was also made in the same month as the New beginning. plus I think that this game will be made in the same month as the other two, yet I can see how the other game (TEN) didn't fare so well.
Dude! What if Cynder gets turned evil, cuz the Chronicler did prodict that she would and lets not forget that spyro is facing the dark master and no doubt she'll be there. Who knows?

Besides, the company will probably show Ripto and why he hates dragons, in the later series. Maybe this game will show even newer characters, because they feal like it. Expect this game, and the other game to show up ( storywise ) in the future and past games. Plus there would be no reason to put up new characters like
tto: in one or two games and have him show up anywhere else. Besides I bet the top 20 characters are going to be very important in the later games.

Well, I think that the final boss will be the Dark Master. Just look at the other two games, ANB; the final boss was Cynder. TEN, the final boss was Gaul. I don't think that the next one will be any different. They are working on this one harder but I think that it will be the exactly the same, you got to hand it to them, it is a good stopping place.
Well I would have felt that to make the trilogy really stand out, there could be a more powerful entity than even the Dark Master himself and that could be the final boss. It tends to work in trilogies like this. We find out in Star Wars (particularly Return of the Jedi) that Darth Vader wasn't pure evil but the Emperor was pulling the strings on him. And there are also quite a few games in my collection that resulted in the final antagonist being a more threatening one than what is assumed as your main antagonist at the beginning.
Heck, even Krome Studios did the same thing with their Ty the Tasmanian Tiger series; for most of the time it was all one big confrontation with Boss Cass, but that apparently received a dynamic finish through Night of the Quinkan, in which Cass was reduced to an ally role apparently. >.> Given their direction with said series, I feel that Krome could pull something out of the bag with this one.

I think that Cynder will be stronger but no have the Dark Powers. I don't think that she will be able to because she is no longer connected to the Dark Master. Still, you never know.
yeah, but she is still a black dragon..i think she will have the Dark powers and will be stronger.
the only way Spyro could use the dark powers is when he was connected to the dark master in that big purple stream inside the mountain fortress. Cynder could not even use fire or any other element when she was recued, she might still be able to use fire and mele attacks, but not Dark Powers. Just because she is a black dragon doesn't mean she could use the dark master's powers.
