I got this thing for my PC last night. One of my friends thought I made the entire game, though. smilie

Urgh, this game is actually quite repetitive, and I know that video games in general are repetitive, but this just takes the cake seriously. It's so old fashioned. It's definitely one of those games where I need to take a long break from.

Ahhh, the start to an amazing trilogy... I miss the days when only X-box and Playstation/ PS2 were the only consols. I played this on X-box (I rented it, well my dad did) and then after a couple of years i was like, 'OMG it's on PS2! so I bought it and Loved it. This sereise deserves more praise, it had great story line, amazing voice actors and dayam those graphics!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVED Spyro and Spyro 2 (have never played year of the dragon smilie) But I think this series is overall the best spyro series ever!

I've gone ahead and bought this game on Amazon for about £5, I think that's a reasonable price for what it's worth. I'm looking forward to trying it out after about four years of not playing it. Maybe I'll appreciate the game a little more this time round? I don't know yet.

Well I've played a bit of this game today, caught a little bit of nostalgia, just reminds me of the time when I first got this game with a friend, and we stayed up all night playing it, and beating it in one night.

Anyway, it's not too bad, but nothing spectacular. I do appreciate the level design this time round, and some of the combat. It's just a bit bland and is missing something.

I've been meaning to buy this game again to try it out, but I do remember either being really bored of playing it, and the times when I got frustrated with the enemies.

There was one level I did enjoy though, and that was the Tall Plains. Even though I thought it kind of didn't suit Spyro, the level in itself was good.

I really like this game. This was my first PS2 game, and i was SO happy to play it! Before it i played spyro 1 & 2 but this was..i don't know...i felt in love with this. Maybe a little too easy, but the story and the "new" combat system are awesome! Still now!

Too bad The Legend of Spyro games never got a Japanese release... smilie

Daisuke Namikawa would have done Spyro's Japanese dubbing voice. In case you guys don't know, He's the guy that has been voice-dubbing over Elijah Wood's roles in Japanese (which he voiced Spyro in this trilogy).

Daisuke's also done young, kind heroes in anime titles such as Mikage in 07-Ghost and also cold anti-heroes or villians such as Ulquiorra Cifer in Bleach for examples.

Watch can also be a fabulous game but from videos I've seen in my opinion is a little too modern for my taste but there's people who like (without a doubt) as well but I prefer the first three Spyro games that I think are nothing short of fabulous because they made the story too, and I have fun when I play!
