Super Spyro, Activision didn't just give them Wave 3, they bought it off the internet for a higher price.
Amazon.de (Germany) and Amazon.it (Italy) both have Wave 3 in stock.
Besides, the regular Wave 3 characters are due for release on Sunday at ToysRUs, and the Swappers are released at Target on the 29th.

Yeah, what's wrong with you, Activision? You gave Wave 3 to nobody in the US except your precious SkylanderBoyandGirl, who just cheer and don't notice anybody else who's going through torment just to get Wave 3! It would be perfect for Christmas, and yet only the little famous bragging Family who's videos get 100,000+ views on YouTube get it, and we have to suffer from Our lack of content.

For all you fans in Canada - TRU (in the GTA) now have Dune Bug and several reposes (Whirlwind, Cynder and Prism Break). The box is a W3 box that has a "hold for 20 DEC 13 flyer release" sticker on it. None of the staff have seen the 22 DEC 13 boxes for Wave 3 in the GTA TRU (not yet anyways). Happy hunting!!!

no, but this is the second time this TRU location has put out some figures by accident. during initial swap force launch day, i picked up 6 figures from wave 2. i found out that one of the stockers put it out by accident. they had the wave 2 boxes in stock so there was confusion during the launch. i'm thinking it happened again since this was just a partial set of figs i found the other day. my source couldn't tell me what other ones they have in the back, but did say they've already got wave 3 boxes ready for distro soon!

Yes. the woodlands, TX! Wave 3 release is tentative for 22 Dec. i don't know who all is in the wave but that is what i found out yesterday, or at least was told. i'll be hitting another TRU location shortly and will revert back if i find anything new.
