All this week is Dragon Week in Skylanders: Lost Islands.

  • A new "Dragon Lair" house for all of the dragon Skylanders to use. It'll cost you 1200 Gems though.
  • The Dragon Week event gives all of the dragon Skylanders 25% extra gold until Sunday.
  • And level 40 has a new "Stage" community building.

Oddly no new sidekick this week.

I love the 'Dragon Lair', but I don't have enough gems for it at the moment and I'm not spending anymore money on this game now either.

So let me get this right, Skylanders Lost Islands is a "free" download but costs you real money in game to get some of the upgrades you want? So it is like a F2TP game?

Basically everything is free. but if you can't be bothered saving up the crazy amount of gems you can buy them. along with coins and energy
