The second wave of characters for Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure is about to appear. Wrecking Ball, Dino-Rang, and Hex are the new Skylanders being introduced this time around. They're released next week on Tuesday November 15th (NA) and Friday the 18th of November Saturday the 10th of December (EU), you should also be able to find the Adventure Pack "Darklight Crypt" in more places.

You might even get lucky and be able to find them early, as one poster on NeoGAF seems to have done.
UPDATE: As well as the individual packs you'll also be able to find them in two new triple character packs.
One containing: Stealth Elf, Wrecking Ball, and Sonic Boom
The other: Hex, Zap, and Dino-Rang
UPDATE 2: Looks like the European date has been moved backwards to December.

Spyro Universe confirms that these are the next wave. They're "locked" but appear available now online. I had no plans on collecting them all... but now, somehow I've collected all that's available now...might as well get the rest, sigh.

I don't see how it is related? The expansions are not exclusives.

Yes I know that, since ghost roaster - darklight crypt adventure pack was exclusive only at Toys r Us in the UK, and now it suppose to be released at other stores so I thought maybe there is a chance Drill Sergeant and Whirlwind could be released in other stores too
As far as I can tell the Whirlwind and Drill Sergeant exclusivity seems to still be intact at this point.
Hex is kinda... creepy.
When it said "Wave" I thought it would be more like at least 6 Skylanders at once, not 3. Oh well, doesn't bother me.

I just picked up Wrecking Ball, Hex and Din-Rang and the Walmart over this past weekend. I tried 5 different locations and I cleaned them out.

I also noticed at Toy'R'Us they have the Skylanders shirts for the kids. One shirt has the 4 Legendary characters including the Legendary Trigger Happy.

Well, looks as though the EU have had their date pushed back. No store has them in, and no European Amazon has them either.
oh well...ill just have to wait...if someone can post the date here whenever you see it, it would be a big help. the us date too tho o3o

I was annoyed too.... Amazon.co.uk have moved their date to 10th December for Wave 2 now.
so then they will all be released 10th of december. thats not that long to wait. but what is the european date? sorry if i nag, but i need to know so i dont have to waste all my money to take the bus to the city all the time just to check..
Some German sites are saying the 21st of November for the new three.
Are we going to get into a situation when no one will ever know when the different waves are released and it'll just be the case of going to your local GAME and hoping that they'll be on the shelves only to find that they've got a massive display at the front of the shop, as do your local GameStation, and when you go to buy it the person at the counter asks "So? DO YOU LIKE THIS GAME?"...

I was in Gamestop today. They had two little shelves for Skylanders. Neither had the new characters.

when i went to walmart to get a skylander for the first time saw a sign that said drill sarget i didnt look at the bottom but when i went back i looked at the sign again and it said EXCLUSIVLY AT WALMART (O_- and drill sarget wasnt there so i decided to get wreaking ball i rlly want Camo and Sunburn though

Who said you need to buy all the characters? If you don't want to, don't, you don't need all of them to beat the game and earn all the achievements.
Plus, with all the lowering prices and discounts around, I'm sure it would be less than 300$, thinking about the 3 packs too.
