News IconFirst GBA and Mobile Screens
11:49 AM - Sunday the 17th of September, 2006 - by dark52
It's been a strangely silent front with screenshots for the GameboyAdvance version of the game, you'd almost think that it didn't even exist. However the first five screenshots of the side-scrolling GBA version of The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning have appeared on the Australian website of Nintendo.

Also worthy of note are the first screens of the Mobile version of the game which you can find at the Italian mobile games website WirelessGaming.it.

Thanks go to Spyro-Fan and Michael respectively for finding these.

Cool! The GBA version reminds me a lot of Orange/Fusion for GBA in graphics terms, the cell phone game looks very nicely done!

I am getting the GBA, DS and GameCube versions, the three console versions are supposed to be similar, but the two handhelds seem to be deviant of the console versions slightly. Someone at Amaze siad the story is the same, just played out different with different levels and puzzles.

I wonder why the official site isn't updated yet, I mean AHT was released in like August or September, wasn't it? But a banner on the site existed since June that had five screens and a quip about the game. Why is this game not getting such early updates?

I wonder if anyonce got the ACT II popcorn spyro set?

And look at this, Spyro wallpapers for phones:

I don't think so, they're all on IGN's images page.

Thankyou Micheal and Spyrofan! I have been wondering why only the console and DS are getting attention when Spyro is getting released on so many things.

And man does the cell look better than the other spyro cell phone games.

"I wonder if anyonce got the ACT II popcorn spyro set?" I got one. It's a very awesome kit. 3 pencils, 2 folders, a notebook, an eraser, a pencil sharpener, and a pencil pouch. You can still get a kit.

The GBA screenshots look poorly done. The moble shots are better. I wonder if there's any features you can get by linking a combonation of Gamecube, GBA, or DS together.

I was thinking the GBA version didn't even exist until now. I'm pondering about why they are even make ANB for GBA , after SL on DS appeared to kill the chances of there being another Spyro game on GBA. As for the mobile game, as bad as it will be, maybe even worse than the GBA version, it would be less pointless. It will be terrible though.

It is so weird, just 17 days left to go but yet no website or anything...why is this game so under advertised?

Shadow Legacy's website appeared only five days before the game was released, so they've got a little while left before they get worse than that at any rate.
