Unfortunately Dot.tk has decided that any site with over 1000 hits a month will be forced to have their stupid banner popup. That means this site. I'll try to 'fix' this as soon as I can, though anyone with a good enough popup blocker won't really be affected. Night night.

Oh, and the forums have been switched off until the relaunch on the 1st of January as I'm trying to create a new look that matches the new look.
UPDATE: I turned 'em back on again as it's all done now, thanks to a skin created by Kazuki, which I modified only in the slightest.

As you might have seen if you visited the forums recently, I am currently working on a complete relaunch of the site. No longer will it use invalid code and no longer will it look this rubbish.

While progress is going well, it's going slow but steady. Found at http://n.1asphost.com/darkspyro/ you can get a sneak preview of what the site will look like from the start of next year. I hope to get it fully operational and fully launchable by January 1st 2005, which is only 20 days away, so the wait shouldn't be too long. In the meantime there is much more content here though there won't be any new stuff until the new site launches I'm afraid, can't do both at the same time unless it's something really important to add.

Kinda forgot to update the site over the past few weeks I'm afraid. Been busy.

A Hero's Tail
Finally the game is out, though this happened several weeks ago in North America and about 1 week ago here in Europe. While I have yet to pick up a copy of the game, from what I have heard from others the game is very good, even compared with the original trilogy too! This could be a great start to a great revival to the series after Enter the Dragonfly lost a lot of people.

Forums
I've made some changes to the forums so that they are now almost completely 'aligned' with the rest of the site. They no longer stick out like a sore thumb as they have navigation bars on the side, whether or not this is good for the site is another thing though.

There's a little more info on the Ripto Quest game now.

Ripto Quest
Kaolink appear to be the developers for this game and they have themselves a nice page of info and pictures on their site. Click on Mobiles and then scroll down to this box and click on it:

[User Posted Image]

It appears that the story will continue right off the back of Adventure with Ripto breaking the machine that is keeping him where he is. Your task is to find all the pieces of the machine that have been scattered about, there are four pieces. You will also be needing to free fairies that have been trapped in a similar manner to Season of Ice. There's also a slightly improved version of the logo there too.

[User Posted Image]

The phones that it confirms that it will work for are:
Nokia 3510i, 3520, 3530, 3560, 3586i, 3595, 8910i, 3100, 3200, 3300, 3300A, 5100, 6100, 6200, 6220, 6225, 6230, 6585, 6610, 6650, 6800, 6810, 6820, 7200, 7210, 7250, 7250I, 3600, 3650, 3660, 6600, 7650, Sharp GX10, GX20, GX30, Sagem myV-65, myV-75, myX-7, Motorola V300, V500, V520, V525, V600, Sony Ericson T610, T616, T618, Z600, T628, T630, Panasonic X60, Samsung E700, E710
Though, the screenshots shown on the site are just for Nokia 7210 & Motorola V500, and other phone's graphics will vary.

Info found thanks to Mozepy.

You may also have noticed that I've added an introduction page for Ripto Quest, the page there is rather basic at the moment and contains nothing you can't read elsewhere. However I will eventually get around to making it a more complete page full of info for this game.

I am now starting to do random updates again, as I have a little more time on my hands and have an easier time updating the site now. While they will generally be more frequent, they won't be as large. Here's today's anyway:

Season of Flame
Again, another level completed for the guide. It's the delightful Shamrock Isle just in case you wanted to know. Overall the guide is 20% completed, not too much to go eh?

Story
I've completely re-written the Spyro Story so that it gives a much better account of what happens in the games. Be warned though as it's all one big spoiler ridden story, nothing there will spare you the plot-lines of any of the games (bar A Hero's Tail, of which the story is not currently completely known).

Character Guide
I've now completed work on preparations for the character guide and have started actually making the bulk of it. Currently through the first world of Spyro the Dragon, it all seems to be going well so far. Expect an actual release within a month or two now.

Actual News
Brand new Spyro game announced recently. It's called Spyro: Ripto Quest and will appear on mobile phones.

Ripto and his army have attacked the worlds of Ice, Grass and Fire. They've damaged the machine that protects the worlds from the diabolical Ripto. Help Spyro and Sparx recover the 4 damaged machine parts and return them to the Professor. Breathe fire, cast spells, teleport, jump and fly around 3 magical worlds and 7 levels of game play. Interact with characters along the way to find out mission objectives and battle Ripto's army of re-spawning Rhino troops.

Visit the site for that game by clicking on the image. There you'll find a few more pictures as well as a short moving video of the game in action. Apparently to be released December 2004, though GameFAQs has it being released on the 22nd of November.

And, as if by chance, there's also a brand new video trailer for the game at VUGames. Clicky here to get to it *goes to borrow some nice looking screens out of it*.

For the first time in a long time, it's time for an update on a Monday. Woo! However this update is of no content and is just a basic bug fixing and corrections correcting update that I thought I might as well do now.

Spyro Fusion
All of the Trading Cards have been optimized in size and format so as to load faster and to reduce the space needed for them. This is all thanks to Mozepy who did all of the work on optimizing the cards (I just changed the page a bit). In a related note, I've also fixed a few errors that were found on said Trading Card page and it now has all 200 Cards rather then 198 as it accidently had prior. Also, after closer inspection of a couple of cards I've decided to not use duplicates for the Castle Riptoc and Ice Riptoc cards anymore, they're all the right card now. Hopefully. Also related, I've optimized the other png images that are used in the Spyro Fusion section too, so now all of the Fusion pages should load just that little faster.
And I've also updated the Party Mode page with some things I originally meant to put it but never got around to.

Enter the Dragonfly
I've finally deleted the unused links from the sidebar so no more confusion about that little problem.

Web Design
I noticed last week that the page wasn't loading correctly in Mozilla Firefox (possibly others too though) as the random image in the top-right kept escaping from its set position. And thanks to a small bit of recoding, it should now work just as it's supposed to. Wahey! Although there are other small problems involving Firefox I currently have no idea about solving them (the main problem being Geocities banners appearing right at the bottom of the page for no reason).
And, if you're lucky and have a browser that lets you see it, I've added a small logo to the side of the site link when you bookmark it. It's not very artistic, but it works on Firefox (hopefully).

Oh, and I've replace Red's picture at the top with a better one.

Strangely enough I've found that I had a little extra time on my hands then I usually have and found enough time in that to do some stuff:

Season of Flame
It's been a while now since I first started this guide, and there hasn't been an update since. However today I bring you another level and the finalisation of the first.
Also, I've updated the World Map a little with some info from that very level that I did. Nothing special, just the key and locked chest. I might at a future date add in the locations of all of the things you need to flame, however this is not decided yet.

Character Guide
I've finally gotten a small bit of work done on this, with a couple of dragons from Spyro the Dragon in the guide now. While you still won't be able to view the character guide until I've completed work on at least Spyro the Dragon's characters, I thought that I might remind you about it and the fact that I'm still 'working' on it.

And as per usual, next week's update is sketchy. Whether or not I will have time to do anything is down to several factors. None I will mention here though. I'll just say that there is more of a chance of an update then there was a few weeks ago. I'm starting to get back into this business and I really want to get my Season of Flame guide finished before A Hero's Tail arrives in November (around a month and a half away!).

Oh, and there's very little chance of a new Season of Ice map for a while either, it's just very boring making them. However I'm not abandoning the project altogether, just postponing it until around Christmas (however it is likely that I may not have much time then either, thereby postponing it until either Easter (once again very little chance of time) or the Summer (a lot higher chance of time)) so it will most likely be a long long wait for them. Sorry, but I really can't be bothered with them at the moment.
7:00 AM - Saturday the 25th of September, 2004 - by dark52
Finally this week I got my hands on a demo of Spyro: A Hero's Tail from the Official PlayStation 2 Magazine UK #51, and that's all this update has as I've been unable to do anything else for a while now, sorry about that.

A Hero's Tail
The demo features four seperate levels from the game, two featuring Spyro, one with Hunter and the final one shows off a Sgt. Byrd level. The full review for the demo is found here which features a 'walkthrough' for each of the four levels as well as some extra stuff too.

Web Design
It's not really much, but I've added a Red image to the random pictures you see in the top right corner of the page, it shows him using his Dark Gem sceptre. Not quite up to the standards of all the others as I had to cut him out of a picture unlike the others which were in layered files which made using them perfect with no horrible edges like there are on the Red one.

As you might have guessed from the really pointless title to this update, I've finished off the Season of Ice guide, and started the Season of Flame guide. Read on for more in depth info.

Season of Ice
After three horrendous weeks of work non-stop on this guide, I've finally completed it all the way through collecting all 100 fairies. Yes, there is no more to the guide, all is done and it can rest in the archives, except for those two levels I screwed up before, I'll have to go back at a later date to sort that out. Ah well. Also the cheats are now on the site too.
And as usual, I've completed yet another of the maps. Click here to see it along with the other two that I've already completed.

Season of Flame
Finally I have begun work on the second best Spyro game to ever grace the GBA, the best being Adventure. So far I've managed to complete only the first homeworld and nothing else but a tedious intro to the next level Country Farms. So far so good though as with the much better Atlas in-game, I've been able to provide the guide with a bit more colour then any of the others. Check it out so far here.

Downloads
And so with the Season of Ice guide being completed, I now have the full text version of the guide ready for download on the downloads page. I have also removed the .zip files from the site as they are just taking up space and the amount they compress is pretty pointless, plus some people might not trust the site enough to warrant a download of a .zip file, therefore I've removed all doubt and gotten rid of them completely, you'll just have to save the text files as you open them.

Enter the Dragonfly
My apologies for not supplying the contet I said I did last week. I never actually got round to writing it and I still haven't. The links remain dead until I do so sometime in the future.

Future Updates
While I will probably be able to get an update to you for next week, the weeks after that may start to become less and less fruitful from a lack of updates as I'm gonna be quite busy from Thursday onwards. Therefore updates might become a lot more scarce and not happen every week. I'll try to do something that's worth updating the site for, but I can't promise it. I might start the character guide and do a bit of that each week just to tide the site over until A Hero's Tail arrives in November when I promise to try to write a full guide for as soon as possible, although obviously only after I complete it for myself. Sheesh. See you next week then, probably.
7:00 AM - Saturday the 28th of August, 2004 - by dark52
Hmph. I managed to do a bit of work for this update. See below for details.

Season of Ice
I managed to complete the whole of the Autumn, Winter and Spring Fairy Homes. So scroll on down and click on the links on the sidebar to get to it if you're in dire need of help on any of them. A couple of the levels I really didn't do very well, so I'll have to update them in the future, but for now they are slightly useful in that they give all the details you need to know how to get the fairies, just not as detailed as any of the other levels (they are both levels in the Spring Fairy Home). Also, I have made a second map for the game, for some reason I made Roman City. Click here to see it. With a total of 15 levels that require a map, I have now completed 13.3% of the maps. Not too long to go eh? One a week and I'll be done by the 27th of November.

Season of Flame
Well, no actual content yet but I've added some filler pages in the meantime.

Adventure
I've removed a few redundant pages that were just cluttering up the sidebar, so no more Hearts or Bonus Items pages to confuse you, they weren't really bonus at all. Sheesh.

Enter the Dragonfly
I've expanded the section on the side to include a few extra things to make it look more like the game actually exists rather then just having a walkthrough and five very poor screenshots. It's just not a good game so there's nothing I can really do for it. Shame really. Although, saying that, I am planning to rewrite the walkthrough so it's more of a walkthrough then a general dragonfly guide with very basic directions, mostly wrong.
Today's the day we get content under every game heading. Finally. And here's a roundup of what's been done over the past week:

Year of the Dragon
Amazingly enough, I finally got round to completing the whole of the Spyro: Year of the Dragon guide. It's now fully completed all the way through, all 150 eggs collect, all 20,000 gems collected. Wahey! I've also completed the Skill Points and Cheats pages now as well, thus completing my work on Year of the Dragon forever.

Spyro: Adventure
Amazingly within all that other work I've done, I managed to create a brand new map system for Spyro: Adventure. Found here you can see the work I did on the 19 in-game maps (yep, I found another one that I'd missed) which now shows you where all of the coloured chests, Sgt. Byrd air vents, Agent 9 air vents, Moneybags vaults and Phoenix Footprints are. Quite useful if I do say so myself. I've even got a link to it on the sidebar now.

Season of Flame
Slightly less useful at the moment, I have made a similar map system for Season of Flame. While it is still incomplete it might be slightly useful for you if you like looking at maps. I do plan on adding things to it in the future such as the locations of the fireflies as well as actually putting the locked chests and keys onto the maps. Found here you should take a quick look.

Season of Ice
And in wake of that, I've gotten ahead and started up my guide to the first GBA Spyro game, Season of Ice. I am also planning to make a map system like the other two games but it will take a bit longer as I will have to make the maps myself from scratch. I've currently only made one so far, click here to see it. While not as cartoony as the ones for the other games, it does give you an overview of the level.

A Hero's Tail
I've taken the time to write up as much info as I know about the game, along with a bit of guesswork, and several images to go with it. Click here to take a look. It introduces the game and several of it's new features.

Character Guide
I said I'd try to work on it, and I've done just that. I have now begun filling it in with all of the characters from the original game. When I get it filled full for that game, I'll release it to the world. That should be done in a couple of weeks, so prepare yourself for that too. However progress has so far been a little slow, as I've only managed to do the pages for Spyro and Sparx at the moment. No matter though. All shall be done one day. Also note that every character to appear in the guide will have a screenshot of them, so no wondering who I'm blabbering on about it the profiles.
7:00 AM - Saturday the 14th of August, 2004 - by dark52
I've organised the news so that it isn't just a big block of nonsense news from now on, there are now categories to it so you can ignore paragraphs that you aren't interested in.

Web Desgin
Well, after a bit of thought I decided to take this look as the new look for the site. While it isn't exactly how I wanted it, this is how it's going to stay until at least next week. It was originally going to have a bit more interactivity to it involving collapsing menus and rollover images, but due to me not really understanding the JavaScript language enough to write my own scripts, it was all scrapped for the version you saw last week.

Year of the Dragon Guide
OK, well I got quite a bit done this week, not yet completed, but it's getting there. Now the guide is complete all the way through Sunrise Spring, Midday Garden and the first several levels of Evening Lake. This just leaves the rest of Evening Lake and the wholeof Midnight Mountain to go. Maybe next week, who knows?

Character Guide
Unfortunately due to the time I've spent attempting to make the site look better, I had to ignore the Character Guide for yet another week, however I am proud to say that the basic guide is now fully completed and now just needs a lot of data and screenshots to make it work. I won't be able to do any of this data gathering until after I have completed all of the guides for this site as well as for darkgta.tk so it may be a while before you actually get to see it.

A Hero's Tail Images
I've added a larger picture of the box cover for A Hero's Tail in the screenshots page. Just click on the small image to get to the larger version, which is the original full drawing for the cover which was found on the website of the person who drew it.

Other
As an added note, I forgot to use the system I mentioned last week this week so some pages and items may not have been updated correctly, however as far as I can tell it is all just as it should be. As usual I'll give the site the once over before retiring to work on next weeks update.
7:00 AM - Saturday the 7th of August, 2004 - by dark52
I have now sorted out my updates so that anything I do to the site will be uploaded to the server as before I usually either forgot to upload something or just uploaded every page again just incase I had missed something. I may also resort to a weekly update, but knowing me it won't last long before I start randomly updating the site. The day that I will most definately update is every Saturday from now on (unless I forget), well, until I have nothing left to do to the site anyway, but there may be updates during the week occasionally if I'm every motivated to do so.

As far as updates this week go, I've reformatted the guide for Spyro: Adventure (Attack of the Rhynocs) so that it looks a lot better then it was before. I have also redone the bars at the side of the pages so that they match the top of the page as well as making the names of the games all their European versions rather then a mixture of different regions. Also, I have added a slight bit to the Spyro Fusion guide for the party mode with a tiny bit more info.

Well, I finally got back to work on the Year of the Dragon guide today, and I've written another 10% of it. All the way through to completing the whole of Sunrise Spring including Crawdad Farm in the Sparx World as well as Sgt. Byrd's Base in Midday Gardens. Expect a lot more next week as I expect to have completed all of it by then although no promises. I also hope to have started my Season of Ice guide too, but only if the Year of the Dragon is complete.

The Character Guide that I used to have on the site is being upgraded and altered to be a more efficient and better laid out guide to everything in the world of Spyro, but it is still nowhere near complete enough for launch on the site. I hope to get it fully completed soon though so maybe by next week you might be able to try out the first installment of it but I'm not making any promises and it is unlikely to happen that quickly unless I have a lot of spare time on my hands.

I have also taken the time to redo the Old News section so that it is easier to browse if you for some reason wish to go back and see what pointless stuff I wrote previously. Now there are links to the different months on seperate pages instead of it all crammed into one page as before.

Oh, and I've also merged the Card Pictures and Card Locations pages together in the Spyro Fusion section so that you can both see and find all of the cards on one page.

Well, I have also started work on a new look for the site, and as usual I have a couple of ideas as for what to do. One such one is viewable <a>here</a> so tell me what you think in the forums. I should have a second new look by next week so I'll start the vote then if I can't decide by myself. Either way the new look will be here the week after. Oh, and there's another one <a>here</a> as well, it's not quite finished yet as the buttons at the top will eventuallybe rollovers and change to orange when you move your mouse over them as well as being links. Oh, and at the moment it might seem a bit more complicated to navigate, but I will be making the indiviual pages use a more personal sidebar just for that game or section.
7:00 AM - Tuesday the 27th of July, 2004 - by dark52
While I haven't got enough spare time to work on the Year of the Dragon guide, I can and have done a bit of work on some other pages on the site.

For the Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy guide I have now completed work on the Party Mode page as well as the Cheats and Codes page which both now have some content. I also redid the sidebar for this game and removed the need for a seperate page with the links to the individual pages of the walkthrough on.

I believe that's all I've managed to do, but I may have done some more here and there. Anyway, I'm hoping to get back to work on the Year of the Dragon guide in a few days so hold on tight for that.
7:00 AM - Thursday the 22nd of July, 2004 - by dark52
Hmm, well it had to happen really. I haven't yet had the chance to play either of the games through the whole way and because of that I am unsure as to whether or not I will actually be able to write a useful guide for them. Hopefully I will be able to, but until I get 100% (or however much percent you can get) in either game there won't be a guide for them at all.

In Year of the Dragon news, I have done a slight bit more of it, now going through the Midday Garden Home. Very slow progress at the moment as I've been working a bit too hard on the guides really. I may take a day or two off in order to be able to get back on track afterwards rather then going really slow for a long time. Therefore any prediction for completion of the guide is going to be most likely incorrect and I don't expect the guide completed this week. However, just so you know, the guide is currently about 20% completed at the moment.

Oh yeah, and as you might have noticed, I've altered the top of the site a little bit. It's no longer black, but rather a nice purple colour. I have also added several different characters from the Spyro games over on the right instead of the Hero's Tail logo. I did this as I was a bit bored. Hopefully it should make the site look a little better then it did previously. And as before the title bar still fits into the 800x600 size window so that shouldn't be a problem for anyone using that setting.
7:00 AM - Tuesday the 20th of July, 2004 - by dark52
The whole of the Sunrise Spring world is now completely written. Head on over to the section for it. I'm going to start on the Midday Garden world tomorrow so you'll have to wait until then (or the day after) for that one. Nothing else done to the site though so seeya then.
7:00 AM - Monday the 19th of July, 2004 - by dark52
Yeah, real good progress huh? Well it's something at least. So then, 3% of the game all done and dusted now. Simply great. Oh yeah, since I didn't mention it yesterday, I've also done the Introduction page to Year of the Dragon too. Interesting.
7:00 AM - Saturday the 17th of July, 2004 - by dark52
With Glimmer completed, I've started on the Year of the Dragon guide. While there's nothing on the site just yet I thought I might as well tell you. The pages that are under the Year of the Dragon section are all empty at the moment so don't bother visiting them.

I have also added a Records page for Glimmer as well as removing the Character Guide that I had on the site. This is to make it a lot better and more useful then it is so to stop you getting confused by the sheer awfulness of its current state, I've taken it down. I will get it back on the site soon though, so don't be too upset.
7:00 AM - Friday the 16th of July, 2004 - by dark52
I've finally finished off the entire guide. With the whole of Winter Tundra now written up it is done. I have also added content to the Skill Points page, as well as to the Cheats and Codes page. With Glimmer out of the way, I will soon be able to start my guide on Spyro: Year of the Dragon. The first bit of that guide should be here within a few days, or at the most a week.

And after completion of the Year of the Dragon guide? Well the two GBA games that I have yet to do obviously. The only problem there is that I have yet to play either of them so I don't really know how long it'll take to write the guides for them.
7:00 AM - Wednesday the 14th of July, 2004 - by dark52
Uh huh, 28% of it done so far (based on Orb count only) so it'll be a short while before it's fully completed. I am aiming for a completion of the guide by Sunday though, so it should arrive thick and fast over the next few days. Now with Summer Forest completed, there are only two worlds left to go.

I have updated the sidebar as well to include all the links that will be needed for this guide, however as you might expect, all but the introduction and Summer Forest links lead to a blank page with a sigh of 'Coming soon...' on them. This is again to prevent people from thinking that it's a bad link like the ones at the top were (I have now fixed the links that weren't working up at the top) while it's just that I haven't made the page yet. And I have also updated the Downloads section to be both easier to use, and it now has more things, including my Spyro Orange guide and my Spyro the Dragon guide. Make sure to go there too if you want to get all the maps from Attack of the Rhynocs.

And also note that I have altered the address to send e-mails to me. No longer send them to darkspyro@darkspyro.tk as that address doesn't and hasn't worked in a while, now send them to darkgta4@yahoo.co.uk and you should get replied to within a day or two. Any e-mail sent to me at darkspyro@darkspyro.tk will not have gotten through and I won't have been able to read it. Sorry about that, but if you still need help or want to ask me anything, either send me another e-mail or post in the forums.

OK, more updates tomorrow hopefully.
7:00 AM - Wednesday the 14th of July, 2004 - by dark52
Well around that anyway. With all of Summer Forest and Autumn Plains completed (except for the return parts of Autumn Plains) I only have Winter Tundra left to do. There are still 8 levels still to write about so with 21 levels already done, it should be completed very soon people! Maybe even by tomorrow. Not promises though, you'll just have to wait and see how far I get.

Well, however much I manage to do by tomorrow, you are almost certain of an update of some kind. Oh, and just so you know, seeing as this method of making the guide is working better than the method I used for the Spyro the Dragon guide, I'll be using it again for Year of the Dragon when I get round to it.
7:00 AM - Monday the 12th of July, 2004 - by dark52
OK, I've begun working on the guide now, but due to the new way of writing the guide that I'm trying out, no actual content will be available until at least Friday and perhaps later.

While this does mean a longer wait for the initial part of the guide, it will mean that I will be able to complete the whole of the guide much faster. If this method works well then I'll use it for Year of the Dragon as well, if not then I won't. Simple as that.

Oh, and as you might have noticed, I got bored of writing the character/creature guide for the most part, but I am still working on it and it will next get updated soon with everything in a better order and a more accessible way of reading it then a huge long jumbled up list of random things. I will also try to add all the things from Spyro 2 as well, but obviously only after I have finished it for Spyro 1.
7:00 AM - Sunday the 11th of July, 2004 - by dark52
Hurray! I've finally done the whole of the guide for the game. Just a few tweaks here and there as well as a new page for the cheats, and I'm done with Spyro the Dragon and can move on to Spyro 2: Gateway to Glimmer soon (or as you might know it, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage).

While I won't get started on that till tomorrow, it should start arriving pretty quickly since it's very nearly summer now.

Bang on schedule, I have completed the Magic Crafters world and the Beast Makers world. I'm well ahead of schedule and I am about to begin work on the Dream Weavers world. Hopefully I will be able to complete this world today as well, but perhaps not. Anyway, while I'm ahead of schedule I can safely say that the guide will most definately be complete by next Friday at the latest, and tomorrow at the earliest.

I have also added a filler page for where the Gnasty's World info will go, this is to prevent people from clicking on the link and just reaching an error page.

I have now done all the way to the end of the Peace Keeper's world and got halfway through the Magic Crafters. Hopefully this will help some of you, but I still have a long way to go before it's anywhere near complete. Currently it stands at 42% completion. While I won't be able to write too much more until next weekend, I will try to write a bit.

Once it is next weekend though, then the guide should speed up and near completion by the 21st of July, hopefully begginning on Spyro 2 the same day. If I get ahead of schedule (as I hope I will) I will obviously not take so long to get everything completed. Amazing huh?

I took most of Saturday and today off from writing the Spyro the Dragon guide, in favour of messing around with the code of the site. I'm currently in the middle of moving all the content into a better and more well rounded coding which is slightly smaller than previously.

This is due to the fact that I have decided not to use FrontPage any more as it was really hindering my progress with writing things. I only used it before as it saved me some time when writing stuff out, but I'd rather have less hassle by writing all the code myself.

While I have attempted to make each and every page into the new coding, there are probably a few pages which managed to avoid the change. If you come across a page that seems to be acting strange (i.e. no title and sidebar, just the main content) then tell me about it in the forums. Post it into the Suggestions for darkspyro.tk, remember there is no need to actually register for the forums so just post anyway. All help is greatly appreciated.

While I have now transplanted all the old content into a .9K smaller version, I still have a lot of work to do on reformatting all the pages to a better standard so that they take up less space. I hope you'll bear with me as I attempt to sort out any problems that are encountered.

UPDATE: Well, it had to happen sometime. I managed to screw up the boards permanently. Therefore the link at the top should take you to the new one. Please re-register if you had done so before as I am unable to move the accounts.

Yep, I've done the whole of the guide for the Artisans now. Read it here and enjoy. I am currently working on the Peace Keepers world so stay tuned to darkspyro.tk for that soon.

Again, nothing else to talk about really. Oh yeah, I have started to write a full account of every character in the Spyro universe. I have currently covered the whole of the Artisans world. Strange coincidence eh? Anyway, the disorganised list and descriptions are now available to the left, just under my unofficial view on the Spyro story.

After abandoning the EtD re-write a few days ago due to excessive annoyingness, I started up with a brand new guide for the original Spyro game, Spyro the Dragon on the PlayStation (PSone). That very guide has been partially uploaded this very day, and covers all the way through the magnificent first Dragon Realm of The Artisans. Read it all in the Walkthrough of the Spyro the Dragon section on the sidebar.

And in other news, not much has happened. Kthxbye.

Ahh, finished up almost all of the Spyro Orange guide now. Just the odd little bit here and there to perfect it, but as far as I can see, the entire walkthrough is complete!

Now that that's done, I can get back to work on all the other Spyro games, working backwards from the newest to the oldest. My current aim is to get the Enter the Dragonfly walkthrough up to a better standard then it is now, so that you can all be helped out in it. Thankyou.

After a slight rest yesterday from writing anything, I've written quite a bit more of the Spyro Orange guide. It has now reached all the way to the end of Arctic Cliffs, which is just under halfway through the game. Check it out now if you want.

Nothing else updated today really, except for the card locations guide which has all the new ones found whilst writing the walkthrough.

It's been a few days since I last added anything to the site, but this update should make up for that. After postponing the re-write of my EtD walkthrough, I have started on a guide to what is most likely the more requested game at the moment, Spyro Orange: The Cortex Conspiracy. I currently have a full card listing of all the cards possibly gained in the game along with a picture of the card.

While I have done some of the walkthrough, it's nothing worth reading yet as it has only gotten to the second mini-game portal in Dragon Castles. Anyway, enjoy the card pictures, but watch out when opening the page as it is likely to take a while for everything to load.

I have also removed all of the text on the sidebar that looked like it could be a link but wasn't as I can just as easily add links there as extra text. Now for all the sections with no current content it reads 'Coming soon...' just to let you know that I am intending to get to work on it.

In other news, I am taking this moment to point you in the direction of the brand new forums that I set up a few days ago for my darkgta.tk website. It now also has content for Spyro and so I would ask you to go there to ask any questions about any of the Spyro games as it is more likely to get a better answer there then from an e-mail to my shoddy e-mail account. To get to the forums simply clink on the link at the top of the page.

Thankyou for your visit here and have a good day.

OK, I worked on the site a little since yesterday and have slightly altered the site with a new bar at the top. Not sure why I did that, but there you go. I have also made several pages more for screenshots of most of the games. The exceptions to this are the GBA games which I have yet to make screenshots of.

And just to keep you updated, I am currently still working on my EtD guide which I am rewriting almost entirely to make it a lot better. As soon as I have finished that I will begin work on the back catalogue of games, starting with the original game, Spyro the Dragon. And since I currently own a copy of all Spyro games (except EtD on the GameCube, and obviously A Hero's Tail since it isn't out yet) I will be able to write accurate walkthroughs quickly, although my estimated time of completion for all of the guides is around the end of July / beginning of August area of time, so you'll have to wait until then before I can help you out. However I will generally respond to e-mails asking for advice in completing certain parts of the games. Send your e-mails to me at darkgta4@yahoo.com

Hello and welcome to my brand new site dedicated entirely to the 'Spyro the Dragon' series of games which were originally developed by Insomniac Games. In a website of the same mould (yet slightly more purple) as darkgta.tk this site, darkspyro.tk, aims to bring the whole of the Spyro universe to one place, here.

I am currently accepting all contributions to the site as it is basically just a skeleton of what I hope to eventually turn it into. With the brand new GBA Spyro game (though arguably the second worst Spyro game ever) just released in North America and soon to be released here in Europe, and a brand new multi-format game Spyro: A Hero's Tail for PlayStation2, GameCube and X-Box set for release in November (exact date unknown to me currently) the Spyro series deserved to get it's own site from me.

This site should get a lot more attention as my other site is pretty much done until October when the main focus game gets a brand new sequel. Until then, I hope to continue working on this site and making it one of the best Spyro resources out there.

If you find that none of the links work, it may be because I am still working on the site and names of pages are bound to change a lot so try to not get annoyed with the site and just to come back later when the changes should have been implemented.

Also, just for reference, I am currently working through all of the Spyro games and writing brand new Walkthroughs for them all to go here on the site, as well as finding screenshots for the site. Currently the only game to have any content on the site so far is Attack of the Rhynocs which was the first Spyro game that I wrote a walkthrough for. For that reason, there are just plain words under all titles except the 'site' one and the Attack of the Rhynocs one. And since I am working through them in order, the next game to receive a Walkthrough will be 'Spyro the Dragon' the original Spyro game created by Insomniac Games. I hope to get this finished soon, but since I currently have exams going on it may be several weeks before any new content is made, so check back here often to see whether I have finished it up or not. I am also working on rewriting my Enter the Dragonfly guide which is still available in it's old form on the side so use that if you need to.

If you are in need of more info here are some other sites about Spyro that I have come across on my travels:
