The fifth major console version of the little purple dragon has arrived. Spyro returns this time developed by the company behind such games as Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Chaos Bleeds, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy and Crash Bash. Eurocom. They bring with them a fresh feel to the series that had been nearly completely ruined by the efforts of the last company in Enter the Dragonfly.

Spyro: A Hero's Tail is released on all three major consoles, the PS2, GameCube and Xbox. Featuring five playable characters including one brand new character, Blink the mole.

Once again the Dragon Realms are in danger, this time from a fellow dragon. Red, the evil dragon, a fallen dragon elder has placed many dark gems all over the realms in order to gain control over them. Their powers are seeping into the world and corrupting it. It's up to Spyro and friends to save the world again!

i think this was by far the beat of all the other spyros... the only problem is its imposible to beat without a walkthrough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love the spyro games!But this one guy TEASES me about it.He hates AHT, but i don' care,I kick his butt!

I think this is a great game, but the PSone games are defenitively the best.
My Favorite Spyro games:
Spyro 1-3-2 (I like all of those equally)

I really love it! Its better than my other Spyro games!
P.S. I don't really own AHT i just rented it and i plan to do so again. Heck i dont even have my own gamecube wich i play it on. it i borrowed it from my cousin

I love this game and I have it on my XboX! I would give 9½/10 for this, because you don't find every dark gem, light gem and dragon egg without a walkthrough smilie'.

This Game will go down in History as The game that saved Spyro's Publisity. I love battling the bosses. Never have I seen a better game. I curse all who hate this game. I Give it 100/10 LOL

its kinda good but i cant beat it because for some reason it keeps erasing my file X_X

I love this game! But it's not as good as the PS1 games. The graphics are great and so are the levels.

It is the best Spyro ever I think! I've tryed all 5 of em' but yeah Hero Tails is the best. My top 5 :

(I don't know if dragons do ave their own language)

Everyone hates AHT, but I like it...kinda. The graphics, music and most of the character makeovers were good.

Spyro 5 is the best game so far! All my friends HATE it though. I don't know why.

P.s Do the Dragons have a langauge of their own?
