Plot
A special dragon egg was hidden in a woodland full of dragonflies by Ignitus to save it from evil forces that were hunting it. Brought up alongside Sparx, Spyro is led to believe that he himself is a dragonfly who just happens to be slightly bigger and purpler than the other dragonflies.
Until one day when the village is attacked and Spyro is found. Instinctively using his unknown powers, Spyro realises just how different he is. Confused and upset, he learns that he is not in fact a dragonfly, but a dragon who carries the role of being part of a great prophecy that will bring peace to all the land.
Spyro, along with his trusty sidekick Sparx pursue this epic adventure and attempt the impossible; the demise of the deadly Dark Master. However, between them stands Cynder, a very powerful black dragon powered by the red crystal around her neck, which enslaves her to the Dark Master.

Secondly, I can honestly say I became very excited when I found this poster...
...until I read 'from the producer of Eragon'...
Why? Why on earth would he include that?? The Eragon movie wasn't something to be proud of; John Davis should be banished from making dragon-movies ever again! If anything, that small, seemingly harmless little line there may very well ensure the epic failure of this soon-to-be piece-of-crap film. Don't get me wrong, i LOVEEE Spyro immensly. But, seeing it become a full-length movie... I don't feel like getting my hopes up. And then learning that the producer of Eragon will be making this? Bah. Eragon was my most beloved book, and he butchered it so bad, I usually choose to completely ignore the movies existence altogether.
So I'm not getting my hopes up for this. I'll go see it in theaters though; maybe, HOPEFULLY, he wont ruin it too far beyond repair
twilight only has lyk three books but
has 13 games and besides games r wayyy better then books any day.
I wonder if they'll have mechandise to buy.
